An Icon of Fighting Games is Coming to Italy: Katsuhiro Harada of Tekken is AIV's Guest!

Get ready, video game fans! On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Accademia Italiana Videogiochi (AIV) will host a true legend: Katsuhiro Harada, Executive Game Director and Chief Producer of the famous Tekken series.
Harada, one of the most authoritative voices in the industry with a thirty-year career, will share his invaluable experience in an unmissable masterclass.

The Future of Game Design, from Tekken to AAA

Harada won't just talk about fighting games. The event is titled "The Future of Game Design from Fighting Games to AAA" and will trace the journey from the birth of an iconic franchise like Tekken to the most complex challenges a modern AAA development team must face.

From the creation of memorable experiences to managing international teams, Harada will offer practical insights and anecdotes on the evolution of the video game industry, balancing creativity and economic sustainability.

No technical prerequisites are required: whether you are a game designer, a programmer, an artist, or a simple enthusiast, you will find points for reflection.

Participation and Key Details

The masterclass will take place at an approximate time between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM and will be accessible in two ways:

• In-Person: At the new AIV headquarters in Spazio Macchi in Milan, near the Central Station (maximum 30 spots).

• Online: Via the Zoom platform (maximum 60 spots).

A fundamental detail: the event will feature simultaneous translation into Italian, provided by a dedicated interpreter in collaboration with TIP Milano, ensuring maximum understanding.
