Houdini 22 debuts with an exclusive event between Keynote and HIVE Talks

The 3D and visual effects community is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the year: Houdini 22 will be officially launched in London with a special event hosted by SideFX, bringing together artists, technical directors, developers, and industry professionals for an exclusive overview of the software's next evolution.

The event will be held at the prestigious Curzon Soho Cinema and will be split into two days dedicated to innovation and knowledge sharing.

June 17: Houdini 22 Keynote

Houdini 22 Keynotewill take place on Wednesday, June 17, where SideFX will preview the new features, tools, and technologies that will define the future of Houdini.

As is tradition, we expect major updates in the areas of simulation, workflow, animation, and integration with modern production workflows.
Following the presentation, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet other community professionals during an informal networking session.

June 18: HIVE Talks

Thursday, June 18th will be dedicated to the HIVE Talks, a series of technical talks where artists, TDs, and developers will delve into new workflows and advanced techniques.

Topics include:

  • Procedural Modeling

  • Digital Environment Creation

  • Animation and Rigging

  • Visual Effects and Simulations

  • Procedural Content Creation

  • Machine Learning in Digital Production

This will be a unique opportunity to discover how studios and professionals are using Houdini in the industry's most advanced productions.

Livestreaming for the global community as well

Those who can't make it to London will still have the opportunity to follow the announcement: the Houdini 22 Keynote will be broadcast live on YouTube on June 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM CEST (5:00 PM BST, 12:00 PM EDT, 9:00 AM PDT).

Attendance at the live event is limited, so SideFX encourages you to register only if you are sure you can attend.

Houdini continues to be one of the most innovative tools in the world of computer graphics, visual effects, and procedural content development.
With version 22, the community's expectations are sky-high—we can't wait to see what the next keynote has in store.
