Zagarolo Game City 2025
Zagarolo Game City 2025 is back, the initiative dedicated to those who dream of turning their passion into a profession or growing their video game startup.
The Lazio Region considers gaming a strategic economic sector and has invested in it over the past years through the pre-acceleration program Zagarolo Game House and the international Game Design conferences, which are part of Zagarolo Game City.
All of this has been funded through POR FESR 14-20 Measure 3.5.1, and is now ready to evolve further.
A few numbers:
over 300 participants in the first edition of the Game Design Conferences
10 project partners involved
16 projects developed, tested, and recognized by major industry players
5 new startups born and based in Lazio
These numbers convinced the Region to take things a step further: the 2025 edition is transforming into a more structured regional acceleration program.
The goal? To support not only the design of new products by studios and professionals in the gaming and video game sector but also to provide high-level specialist skills that accompany the design, prototyping, and publication of products aligned with market trends.
Why participate?
Technical training and business support
Partners ready to collaborate with know-how, networks, and real business opportunities
Access to new entrepreneurial ecosystems
Networking opportunities and direct contact with publishers and industry companies
All this takes place at Spazio Attivo LOIC in Zagarolo, the heart of the project launched in 2021 to make Lazio’s economy competitive in the gaming sector.
This new edition is part of the broader Project to Strengthen the Spazio Attivo Network – PR Lazio FESR 2021-2027 – Specific Objective 1.3, which aims to foster sustainable growth, competitiveness of SMEs, and the creation of jobs, also through productive investments.
Deadline: 11 July 2025 at 1:00 PM.
