Immersive Experience's Review: new CSC laboratory

The Experimental Centre of Cinematography launches a new laboratory dedicated to the analysis of immersive experiences, as part of the Cinecittà project funded by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The course aims to develop a critical approach to interactive digital content, which is becoming increasingly central to the audiovisual industry.

Schedule and format

The activities will take place online on 15, 16, 19, 23, and 24 June 2026, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, for a total of 20 hours.

There are 6 available places. Participation is free of charge and requires mandatory attendance. A certificate of participation will be issued at the end of the course.

Course contents

The laboratory explores the main languages of immersive experiences, analyzing their structure, storytelling, and interaction methods.

During practical exercises, participants will work on real case studies, developing critical analysis skills and learning how to evaluate projects in terms of clarity, usability, and overall coherence.

Who can apply

The course is open to adults holding a high school diploma who are interested in audiovisual media, digital media, or immersive environments.

Applications must be submitted online by 12 June 2026 at 12:00 PM and must include a CV and a motivation letter.

Selection process

Admission will be based on the evaluation of the submitted materials and, if necessary, an interview. The selection committee will assign a maximum score of 30/30. The laboratory will be activated with at least 4 eligible candidates.
